Increase in Russia's Fossil Fuel Export Revenues in May
Russia’s fossil fuel export revenues increased in May 2026 due to higher prices and increased purchases from China, India, Turkey, and several EU states like Spain, which doubled LNG imports. Despite Ukrainian strikes disrupting Russian oil infrastructure, including the Taman terminal, daily export income reached €726 million.
