Latin America and Europe are bystanders in the US-China AI race, says Lula’s top adviser
The AI race has become a two-power contest between the United States and China over rare earths, data, and governance, sidelining Latin America and Europe, according to Brazil’s top foreign policy adviser Celso Amorim. He made the statement at the Forte de Copacabana International Security Conference in Rio de Janeiro.
