Englewood development wants to make 59th Street a 'corridor to watch'
The Resident Association of Greater Englewood (R.A.G.E.) is developing a $6.4 million mixed-use project called The Re-Up on 59th Street in Englewood, featuring retail space for Black-owned businesses and new headquarters. The project, funded in part by a $2.5 million city grant and tax incentives, aims to foster economic justice and community investment following 2020 civil unrest and Black Lives Matter protests.
