Iran and the U.S. have reached an interim deal to immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz and allow Iran to sell oil freely, with the U.S. agreeing to lift sanctions if a final nuclear agreement is reached. The deal also includes $300 billion in aid for Iran’s post-war rebuilding and a two-month pause in hostilities to resume nuclear negotiations, ending active conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.
