McDonald’s is bringing back a limited time dessert item to its summer menu

McDonald’s is reintroducing its Fried Apple Pie to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, returning it to the menu on June 23. The dessert originated as a family recipe by East Tennessee owner Litton Cochran and will be promoted with a 35-foot Apple Pie monument along Route 66 in Joliet, Illinois, until July 4.
