After House leaders again decline to hear Pride Month resolution; LGBTQ Caucus reads it outside
Members of the Michigan House LGBTQ Caucus read a Pride Month resolution outside the State Capitol after Republican leadership declined to allow it on the House floor. The resolution, HR 329, was referred to the House Government Operations Committee and is expected to remain there until June ends. A similar resolution was adopted in the Democratic-controlled Senate, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a proclamation recognizing Pride Month.
