Pakistan's Prime Minister says US-Iran MoU will enter into force immediately
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will take immediate effect, with Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz and the US lifting its naval blockade. Pakistan, with Qatar's support, will host a ceremony on 19 June 2026 in Switzerland to commemorate the agreement.
