An IDF reserve soldier was killed and seven others were wounded by a Hezbollah explosive in southern Lebanon. Master Sgt. Alexander Filin, who immigrated to Israel at age 12, had previously prevented an attack and received a presidential award. Senior officers were among those injured during a patrol along the Litani River.
