UK envoy to China visits Yanan, historic party site rarely seen by Western officials

The British ambassador to China, Peter Wilson, visited Yanan in Shaanxi province with Lu Kang from the Communist Party’s International Department. The visit was at the invitation of the department, and they toured a site linked to President Xi Jinping’s past labor experience.
