UK border official and former Hong Kong cop jailed for spying on behalf of China
A UK border official and a retired Hong Kong police officer were jailed for spying on dissidents and critics of Beijing. They were found guilty of breaching the National Security Act by assisting a foreign intelligence service and targeted activists and British politicians. The Chinese embassy in the UK called the case a political farce.
