Supreme Court seeks responses from Centre, BCI on plea for advocates’ registry, social media code

The Supreme Court of India has asked the Centre and the Bar Council of India (BCI) to respond to a plea seeking a national registry for advocates and a social media code. Mohana described the proposals as 'innovative' but noted that establishing a comprehensive national database would require collaboration with law universities.
