Kenner takes gut punch as floodwater from Arthur stalls dozens of vehicles

Kenner, Louisiana, experienced severe flooding from remnants of storm Arthur, stalling 50-70 vehicles and causing road closures. Police Chief Keith Conley noted the city received 6-10 inches of rain in two hours, overwhelming drainage systems despite functioning pumps. Major affected areas included Loyola Drive, West Esplanade Avenue, and Airport Access Road.
