US military lifts Strait of Hormuz naval blockade after Iran MOU signed

The U.S. military ended its naval blockade near the Strait of Hormuz following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the U.S., Iran, and intermediaries to resolve the Middle East conflict. The blockade, which restricted maritime traffic to and from Iranian ports, had been in place since mid-April.
