DA drops arson charge for man accused of starting destructive wildfire west of Loveland

The DA dropped an arson charge against a man accused of starting the Alexander Mountain fire, which burned nearly 10,000 acres and destroyed 50 structures in Larimer County in August 2024. No other arrests have been made in connection to the fire.
