May 9 riots : Verdict reserved in police vehicle burning case
An anti-terrorism court in Lahore reserved its verdict in a case involving the burning of police vehicles during the May 9 riots. The judge, Manzer Ali Gill, is expected to deliver the verdict on June 20 after hearing both sides, with several Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Shah Mahmood Qureshi, facing charges. The riots followed the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan by the National Accountability Bureau.
