France's foreign ministry denied requesting the ban of an Iranian opposition rally in Paris. The Paris-based NCRI claimed the rally was canceled after a call between French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot and Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi. The ministry stated the minister did not mention the protest or request its cancellation.
