Loyola's biodiesel expert gave students fuel for thought

Zach Waickman, a Loyola University Chicago biodiesel researcher, converted cooking oil into fuel for campus buses and visited Kilmer Elementary School to educate students about his work and career journey. He also discussed creating liquid soap from the process byproduct and shared his unconventional path from broadcast journalism to leading the biodiesel lab.
