Mexico secured a 1-0 victory over South Korea to become the first team qualified for the knockout stages. Canada achieved their first World Cup points with a 6-0 win over Qatar. Switzerland defeated Bosnia Herzegovina 4-1 in the second half, while the Czech Republic drew 1-1 with South Africa.
