University town framework unlikely to be unveiled before five-year plan released
Hong Kong’s education authorities are likely to miss the deadline for unveiling a university town concept plan in the first half of the year, as the project must align with the city’s inaugural five-year plan set for release in the third quarter. A source confirmed that at least two higher education institutions expected to participate in the Northern Metropolis megaproject’s first phase have been informed of the delay.
