President Donald Trump unveiled a new Air Force One, a converted Qatari-owned jet with a navy blue and red color scheme, intended as a temporary replacement until new Boeing planes arrive in 2028. The aircraft replaces the Kennedy-era blue design and includes security modifications costing under $400 million. The Air Force confirmed older VC-25A jets will remain in service alongside the Qatari jet until the new Boeing VC-25Bs are operational.
