Poland’s president strips Ukraine’s Zelensky of top award
Poland’s president Karol Nawrocki removed Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky from receiving the country’s top award, citing tensions over Zelensky’s naming of a Ukrainian army unit after a WWII nationalist insurgent army linked to Polish massacres. The decision occurs days before Poland is set to host the Ukraine Recovery conference.
