‘More water than fuel’: Driver says contaminated gasoline left her stranded for hours in new car
A South Carolina driver reported being stranded after purchasing contaminated gasoline from a TA gas station, which resulted in water in her vehicle's fuel line and a $1,273 repair bill. The incident prompted her to warn drivers about fuel contamination risks, especially for older vehicles. The South Carolina Department of Agriculture confirmed 132 cases of water or sediment in fuel since January last year.
