Energy storage: China’s battery power sets stage for global leadership
China has opened a massive 3 billion yuan laboratory in Xiamen, Fujian province, designed to test battery-based energy-storage systems under extreme conditions. The facility, equivalent to 14 football pitches, aims to evaluate the durability of energy-storage systems produced by Chinese manufacturers.
