DoorDash driver from Troy loses account access and earnings in phone scam
A 72-year-old Troy man lost access to his DoorDash account and thousands of dollars in earnings after a scammer posing as a DoorDash fraud department representative obtained his Crimson Card information. The scammer called during a delivery, claiming his account was compromised, and DoorDash confirmed they would never request sensitive information via phone.
