Fisherman dead, captain and fellow crew member arrested following distress call, officials say

A fisherman died after falling overboard near Vinalhaven, Maine, following a distress call. The vessel's captain and a crew member were arrested and charged with assault and other offenses. Another crew member performed CPR before first responders arrived, but the fisherman, identified as Marshal Ames, did not survive.
