Kerala Police has partnered with religious leaders for an anti-drug operation named 'Operation Toofan'. Home Minister Chennithala designated Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama State president Syed Mohammed Jifri Muthukoya Thangal and Sunni leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliar as 'Toofan warriors'.
