São Paulo Taps Its Richest District to Remake a Favela
São Paulo has launched an integrated program to transform Paraisópolis favela through infrastructure, public facilities, and environmental improvements, funded by the Faria Lima Urban Operation, which uses payments from nearby high-end developments. The plan includes upgrading up to 17.8 km of streets.
