Teen accused of driving at Metro Nashville K-9 officer during street racing stop, police say

A 15-year-old was charged with aggravated assault on a first responder and evading arrest after allegedly driving a Nissan Maxima toward a Metro Nashville Police Department K-9 officer during a street racing stop. The incident occurred when the vehicle fled a traffic stop, and the driver later accelerated toward Officer Mario Diaz and his K-9 partner, Kyro, prompting the officer to fire shots. No injuries were reported, and two other occupants fled into a wooded area.
