Minneapolis Police officer punched while investigating a downtown shooting

A Minneapolis police officer was punched while investigating a non-life-threatening shooting outside Cowboy Jack’s on 5th Street North. A crowd gathered and escalated tensions, leading to another altercation resulting in an arrest for disorderly conduct. The suspect who assaulted the officer fled the scene.
