Canada steps up at Rimpac to rebut Trump’s freeriding charge
Canada is deploying two frigates and a submarine to the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (Rimpac) to counter U.S. accusations of freeriding. The exercise, involving 31 countries and over 25,000 military personnel, includes Canadian ships HMCS Ottawa, HMCS Regina, and HMCS Corner Brook.
