Morning update

US and Iranian negotiators made encouraging progress in Switzerland, agreeing on a 60-day roadmap toward a final agreement and a de-confliction mechanism in Lebanon. However, disputes over Lebanon and strong rhetoric from both sides highlighted the fragility of the talks. Pakistan and Qatar reported the progress, while Hezbollah and Israel expressed opposing stances on military activities in Lebanon.
