Man accused of removing serial number from rifle had Oxford shooter’s phrase written on gun, feds say
A Macomb County man, Eleazareli Maycock, faces federal charges for removing a rifle's serial number and possessing a weapon marked with the phrase 'There is no God,' a slogan linked to the Oxford High School shooter. Federal investigators found the serial number was intentionally scratched off, and Maycock allegedly praised other mass shooters online, including New Zealand attacker Brenton Tarrant.
