Community leader and former Charlotte mayor Eddie Knox dies at age 89
H. Edward 'Eddie' Knox, former Charlotte mayor and civic leader, died at age 89. He served as Charlotte’s 49th mayor from 1979 to 1983 and was a longtime attorney involved with the Knox Law Center.
