Disney and Usha Vance team up to honor military families and surprise them with magical gifts

Usha Vance, Disney, and Blue Star Families hosted an event at MacDill Air Force Base to promote childhood literacy through the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, distributing books and Disney World tickets to military families. Disney committed $2.5 million to Blue Star Families and has donated over 370,000 books to military children during their 15-year partnership.
