Man sentenced for Bloomington crash that killed passenger
Dior Cortez Wheeler was sentenced to over five years in prison and ordered to pay $63,000 in restitution after pleading guilty to causing a fatal crash in Bloomington in April 2025 while under the influence. The crash killed a 29-year-old woman and injured others, with evidence showing Wheeler's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit and he had prior impaired driving offenses.
