Spring Hill father honored for saving 7-year-old son from burning home

Brandon Rorer, a father from Spring Hill, Tennessee, was honored by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission for rescuing his 7-year-old son from a burning home in August 2025. He re-entered the smoke-filled house multiple times before successfully carrying his son to safety, sustaining second-degree burns and smoke inhalation injuries in the process.
