Man accused of robbing elderly woman before running her over, prosecutors say

Ali Hchaili is accused of stealing an elderly woman’s purse and running over her with his vehicle, causing her death, according to prosecutors. He allegedly committed a similar robbery against another elderly woman five days prior. Hchaili faces murder and robbery charges with cash-only bail set at $1.25 million and $50,000 respectively.
