An armed group killed at least 20 people in Kawel community, Plateau State, Nigeria, and exchanged gunfire with police who forced them to retreat. No arrests were made, and no group claimed responsibility for the attack in a region with recurring violence. Plateau State Gov. Caleb Mutfwang ordered emergency agencies to provide relief to victims and families.
