Return to the top: China’s LineShine beats US El Capitan in Top500 supercomputer rankings
China's LineShine supercomputer, developed by the National Supercomputing Centre in Shenzhen, reclaimed the world's fastest supercomputer title with 2.198 exaflops, surpassing the US's El Capitan at 1.809 exaflops. The rankings were released at the International Supercomputing Conference in Hamburg.
