DOJ sues NY over mask ban, ID requirement for ICE agents

The U.S. Department of Justice filed a federal lawsuit against the State of New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Attorney General Letitia James over a state law that prohibits federal agents from wearing masks and requires them to display identification while operating in the state. The law, S.9005-C, was signed into effect.
