Macomb Township breaks ground on $22.5M Broughton Road expansion to create new downtown

Macomb Township has begun a $22.5 million expansion of Broughton Road to create a new downtown, extending the road 1.5 miles to 24 Mile Road. The project, expected to take two years, will feature roundabouts and street parking to attract businesses and mixed-use development, funded partly by over $14 million in grants.
