Beware of Advance America Scams

A user applied for a loan via Advance America's online platform but encountered issues connecting their bank account through Plaid. Later, they received a suspicious call from someone claiming to represent Advance America, who requested personal financial information and a $500 CashApp payment for 'loan insurance.' The user terminated the call after discovering similar scam reports on Reddit.
