Man accused of firing into random cars in Charlotte was released from jail days prior

Jarod Starks, on post-release supervision after being released from prison in February 2026, was arrested in May 2023 for stealing a car and later accused of firing into random vehicles in Charlotte. He was released on June 16 but re-arrested after a standoff with police, facing charges including felony assault with a firearm on a government official.
