Now all of Montgomery Parks’ nearly 300 miles of trails are open to Class 1 e-bikes

Montgomery Parks has expanded access to Class 1 e-bikes on its nearly 300 miles of trails, allowing them on natural-surface trails five years after they were permitted on paved trails. The policy excludes Class 2 and Class 3 e-bikes, motorbikes, and mopeds due to concerns about trail damage, speed, and safety. Enforcement focuses on education, with warnings, citations, or removals possible for noncompliance.
