Singaporean woman jailed for slapping, punching helper over job performance
A 67-year-old Singaporean woman, Hazel Phang Fong Yen, was sentenced to four months in jail for slapping, punching, and scratching her domestic worker over job performance. The worker, earning S$470 a month, reported the abuse to Singapore’s Centre for Domestic Employees. The court ruled against her after the abuse was reported.
