Girls' primary school blown up by unidentified miscreants in KP's Lower South Waziristan

An unidentified group exploded a government girls’ primary school in Sara Ghowara area of Birmal tehsil, Lower South Waziristan, late Tuesday night. District Police Officer Muhammad Tahir Shah confirmed the destruction and launched an investigation. Attacks on schools in the region have increased in recent months, with similar incidents reported in February, March, and October, as well as in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali in December 2025.
