Tesla, Sunrun, Renew Home team up on massive 16GW virtual power plant

Tesla, Sunrun, and Renew Home have partnered to create what could be the largest virtual power plant in the U.S., combining rooftop solar, home batteries, and grid-responsive smart thermostats. The project aims to develop multiple virtual power plants (VPPs) in data center hotspots, with a total capacity of 16 gigawatts.
