Czech constitutional court says president should attend NATO summit
The Czech Republic’s Constitutional Court issued a preliminary injunction allowing President Petr Pavel to attend the July NATO summit in Ankara, resolving part of the dispute with Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, who had barred him. The court cited past precedents and deadlines, with a final decision pending. Their conflict also involves military spending cuts below NATO targets.
