California Science Center visitors will see space shuttle Endeavour in launch position this fall

The California Science Center’s Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, housing the space shuttle Endeavour in a launch position, will open to the public on Nov. 13. The 200,000-square-foot expansion includes interactive exhibits and authentic aerospace artifacts, with Endeavour displayed as the only complete space shuttle system in launch configuration outside NASA facilities.
