Driver of car involved in shooting death of NYPD Det. Jonathan Diller in Far Rockaway pleads guilty to top-count weapon charge: DA
Lindy Jones pleaded guilty to a weapons possession charge for a loaded 9 mm firearm found in his car during a March 2024 incident in Far Rockaway where his passenger, Guy Rivera, shot and killed NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller. Rivera was previously convicted of aggravated manslaughter and attempted murder in connection with the killing and an attempted shooting of Sergeant Sasha Rosen.
